SurfVault Surfboard Giveaway — Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

These Official Rules govern the SurfVault Custom Surfboard Giveaway (the “Promotion”). By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters.

1. Sponsor

The Promotion is sponsored by SurfVault, LLC, 7901 4th St N, Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702 (“Sponsor”, “SurfVault”, “we”, “us”). The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta, Apple, or Google.

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 13 years of age at the time of entry. Entrants who are under 18 (or otherwise under the age of majority where they reside) may enter and win only with the consent and participation of a parent or legal guardian, who must agree to these Official Rules on the minor’s behalf, sign all documents required of a winner, and accept the prize on the minor’s behalf.

Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. Entry Period

The Promotion is open for entries through August 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (the “Entry Deadline”). Sponsor’s server clock is the official timekeeper.

4. How to Enter

Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. To enter, (1) download the SurfVault app (iOS, Android) or use the web app at app.surf-vault.com and (2) create a free account. Creating a free account on or before the Entry Deadline automatically enters you into the drawing with one (1) entry.

You may earn additional entries — which increase your chances of winning — by completing any of the following free actions on your account on or before the Entry Deadline:

• Setting your home surf break: +1 entry
• Turning on push notifications in the SurfVault mobile app: +2 entries
• Adding a surf break to your favorites: +1 entry each, up to a maximum of three (3) favorites (3 entries)
• Posting a genuine surf session: +3 entries each, up to a maximum of three (3) sessions (9 entries)

Each entrant may earn a maximum of fifteen (15) total entries. All qualifying actions are free; no purchase or payment improves your odds. Sessions already posted before these Rules were updated count toward your entries. Automated, bulk, fraudulent, or non-genuine activity — including sham accounts, fake or non-genuine sessions, or actions taken solely to inflate entry counts — will be disqualified at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

5. Prize

One (1) custom surfboard from a SurfVault partner shaper, awarded to one randomly selected entrant. Board specifications are at the shaper’s and Sponsor’s discretion. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $495.

The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and has no cash equivalent. No substitution except by Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Limit one (1) prize per person and per household.

6. Winner Selection

One winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about September 5, 2026. The drawing is weighted by entries: an entrant with more entries has proportionally greater odds of being selected. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received.

7. Winner Notification

The winner will be notified via the SurfVault app and/or the email associated with their account. The winner may be required to verify eligibility and to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and (where lawful) a publicity release within 7 days of notification. Where the winner is a minor, these documents must be completed and signed by the winner’s parent or legal guardian, who must also consent to the prize award. If the winner cannot be contacted, declines, is found ineligible, or fails to return required documents within 7 days, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

8. Content, Likeness & Publicity

You retain ownership of the content you upload. Sponsor will request permission before featuring any entrant’s content, name, or likeness in any SurfVault edit, film, or marketing material. Where a featured creator or the winner is a minor, that permission must be granted by the minor’s parent or legal guardian.

9. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant it believes has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion, or has acted in violation of these Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs its integrity.

10. Release & Limitation of Liability

By entering, you release and hold harmless Sponsor and its officers, members, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Taxes

All taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The prize is valued under $600, so no IRS Form 1099 will be issued; it nonetheless remains taxable income that the winner is responsible for reporting. Sponsor does not pay or reimburse the winner’s taxes.

12. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to SurfVault’s Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any disputes will be resolved individually, without resort to class action.

14. Void Where Prohibited

The Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

15. Winners List
