Good to know.
Is SurfVault free?
Yes. Finding your waves, browsing boards, watching films and requesting shots are all free, and you get 15 GB of storage to start. Paid plans only add more room and a few extras.
How do I find photos of myself?
Open the break you surfed, pick the day, and look through the sessions from that morning. You don’t need to know who shot you, or be tagged.
How do I get the full-res photos?
Tap Request Media on the shots you want. Once the photographer grants access, save them straight to your phone.
How do I know when new photos drop?
Favorite your breaks and follow your photographers, and you’ll get a notification the moment a new session is posted. If a photographer tags you, you’ll hear about that too.
Can I look up old sessions?
Yes. Every break keeps its sessions by date, so you can go back months or years, whether it’s your home break or a trip you’re planning.
How do I buy a board I find?
Message the shaper right in the app. You work out the details and pay them directly, the same way you would in their shop.
Does SurfVault take a cut?
No. Whether it’s photos or a board, you pay the photographer or shaper directly: Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Zelle or a payment link they share. SurfVault doesn’t process payments and takes 0%.
Can I post my own sessions?
Yes. Any account can post sessions, and your followers get notified when you do. Pin your best waves to the Highlights tab on your profile.
